Procrastination Links 04.08.19
Spring has sprung and I am so excited to share the news of my new adventure in farm living at Monches Farm. My family and I do not yet know what the farm will become, but we are looking forward to the fun and hard work that awaits us. I will of course share our adventures along the way on the blog. In the meantime, check out my favorite links from around the web this week…

Also, I very much liked this essay about motherhood. The comments, though. So mean! I want to write to these scolds and remind them that this is someone's heart on the page. Stomping on it, even virtually, is cruel.
A Wisconsin woman was so clever this April Fool's. Also, this April Fools too.
Where do you stand on monograms? If you remember the preppy 80s fondly, you’ll love this line of super cute accessories.
I have been challenged to do this with our chickens. What do you suppose the white stuff is? C&H sugar or Colombian coke?
Been working on an essay about a trip to Iowa years ago. This photographer's work has helped.
Last week in California, my friends and I ate breakfast at the same table every single morning and one of us ordered the same entree five days in a row. If you're over fifty, read this very perceptive article. (Thanks Christine!)
The highest ranking woman in the MLBgives a fun interview on how baseball has changed and on the odds of her ever becoming the first GM.
A very thoughtful essay on high schools, Alex Cross, bullying, and origins from a fellow Alt attendee.
I used to just crastinate but I got so good I went pro.
I’ve never made bread from scratch. Plan to wait and try for the first time at the farm. I’m looking for an Ethel to join me. Anyone???
Another essay on aging: Trying to Let Go of the Elegant Shawl. Thank you, Lauren!
Nytimes article on procrastination(Thanks Deb) which I believe borrowed from my post here. Which is fine. It clues me in that Google might be indexing me for procrastination. I’ll take it! Better than being indexed for syphilis, right?
